Laura Banks began her comedy career with Whoopi Goldberg in the Improvisational Comedy Troupe “Spontaneous Combustion”, then onto a stand up comedy appearances at the San Diego and Los Angeles / Sunset Strip Comedy Store. She’s starred in several films for Roger Corman and had a cameo role in Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan, Paramount Pictures. She’s performed stand-up on Comedy Central and made appearances on VH-1, ABC World News, The Bill O’Reilly Show and in 2006, CRN Digital Talk syndicated “Star Gal Radio”. Her books include Love Online, Breaking the Rules and Embracing Your Big Fat Ass (due out with Simon and Schuster in June, 2008.). She also produces radio with www.DrPressman.com. Oh, and one more thing, she writes for Tarot.com as a humorous astrologer.
